I Love The Rain

I love rain. I love water. Rain cleanses the soul, clears the air.

Travis Bickle said" Someday A Real Rain will come and wash all the scum off these streets". Rain dissolves the phony social contrivances and pointless striving of human animals.

Rainy days are peaceful. You have freedom, you can stay indoors and watch the rain come down or you can go out in the rain and be baptised. No one expects you to go outside, no one expects you to be happy. Same thing for snow. The sound of rain is soothing. The sound of water dripping or pouring is calming. The sound of waves, the sound of thunder.

Fog goes with rain. What is more wondrous than fog? Clouds, puddles, pools of water, reflections.

There is ambiguity in the grayness, the mist, the reflections. The tyranny of right or wrong, good or bad dissolves.

Stories shouldn't end with weddings or funerals. They should end with the character disappearing in the fog
