Just watched the film; The Trial Written and directed by Orson Welles and based on the Novel by Franz Kafka. What a movie! The visual style is stunning and confirms that Orson Welles had a vision of genius unsurpassed in the history of cinema, While the film deviates somewhat from the novel the themes remain the same. I strongly recommend that you watch this film, ALONE
